Vodafone Protect & Connect S5 continuously monitors your vehicle, giving you complete peace of mind. In the event of theft, the system automatically sends an alert to the Vodafone Automotive Secure Operating Centre, where trained specialists immediately activate the recovery process. Using real-time vehicle tracking, the app follows your vehicle’s movements and works directly with local police to support fast and effective recovery.

Whether you’re at home or travelling abroad, the tracker is always on. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across 40 countries worldwide, and support is available in your own language, even when you’re overseas.

Vodafone’s Protect & Connect Vehicle Tracking systems add an intelligent, connected layer of protection alongside our physical vehicle security products. Designed to help deter theft and support recovery, Protect & Connect gives you greater visibility and control if the worst should happen. So, if your vehicle is taken, it can be located quickly and recovered – reducing downtime and disruption while preventing potential loss of business. We offer three Vodafone tracking solutions, each providing a different level of protection depending on your needs. Like vehicle alarms, trackers are independently graded under Thatcham categories, helping insurers understand the level of security fitted to your vehicle.

Category S7 trackers are reactive systems. That means if a vehicle is taken, the driver can use the tracker to locate it once the theft has been identified.

Category S5 trackers (including S5+) provide a proactive level of protection. Using driver recognition technology, such as a Bluetooth tag, the system checks for authorised presence when the vehicle is started. If the tag is not detected, the owner can be alerted via app or phone, or it can stop the vehicle from starting altogether.
